How to retain the dimensions of images you may have resized in Google Docs, and export those same dimensions to your website.

Let's say you want to wrap text around images inside a Google Doc. Easy! Just resize the image by dragging and dropping. Then wrap the text like so:

Simple, right?

Unfortunately, Google Docs doesn't actually save any of this resized information or overwrite the original image files.

That means when you go to export these images from your document to upload to your website, the original source files are still the same large, (usually) full-width images you had before resizing.

Thankfully, we've solved this problem. If you resize images in Google Docs, and then select our "Resize to document dimensions" Transformation option, we'll retain any changes you have in the Doc itself.

This is on top of any other modifications, like still compressing the images and adding Alt attributes.
