Simply click on that giant Google Drive button during onboarding, or on the Drive icon in the Connections page, to add a new Google account.

Then, Google will ask your permission to allow us to properly access your files.

Two important points:

  1. Important: Please enable ALL permissions so that you’ll be able to see your Google Docs. If you try to deselect any options, the connection won’t work and you will not be able to later import documents.

  2. Privacy & Security: Only you will be able to see your own documents. We will not! Only the documents you import to Wordable will be pulled into our system. Otherwise, your default Google Drive permissions will also protect your sensitive data. Read more.

Here's a quick video for how this process should work:

Troubleshooting step #1. The most common reason a Google connection fails is because you're trying to deselect or modify the permissions we're allowed to see.

Unfortunately, this usually always disrupts our ability to view and import your files.

If you think this might be the issue, simply delete this connection from the Connections page inside Wordable, and then create a new connection to allow all settings.

Troubleshooting step #2. Did you try to re-authenticate the connection, and still having issues?

Simply reach out to us in the lower right-hand corner of your screen (through the Intercom live chat messenger) and we'll check it out manually for you!
